I am unable to access the Vantage trainings that have been assigned to me

Problem

I have been assigned the Vantage trainings but I am unable to access them. When trying to launch the videos, a new screen will open but I get the error message "this site cannot be reached". I am connected to the VPN and am in the office but can't get it to work. Any suggestions?


Solution

There are normally two issues that cause this. First, the training is behind the firewall. You must be on the state network to access it, but even working in office, for some locations, there are still issues. When this happens, logging into the Global Protect VPN should resolve the error.  Please note, there are multiple VPNs with the state, so please verify that you are logged into the Global Protect VPN.

Secondly, make sure your popup blocker is deactivated since the training will pop up in a new window.
