How do I add a billing profile to a customer

Make sure that the entity you are trying to update is a "Customer" since only customers have billing profiles.  

You can add a billing profile to a customer by creating a CCM transaction and adding a "New" billing profile under the "Customer Account" tab.  

Note:
  1. Start by adding the Customer number in the "Header" tab.
    1. Make sure to use the "Search" option Preview in the "Header" tab to search for the Customer number.  (Typing it in will generally give you an error in document (example: RE) where you need the billing profile number
  2. Then add the Billing Profile number to the "Customer Account" (Billing Profile)" tab.

  3. Validate and submit.
Once the CCM is approved, you can then create your RE.
