Introduction
To access the FINET Mobile App on your State-issued device, you’ll first need to connect to the State VPN using GlobalConnect.

This QRG contains instructions for how to do so on a Android and iOS devices. This QRG is for all Android devices, but specifically created using Google Pixel and Samsung
devices. Screenshots are taken from a Google Pixel 7.

Before you configure and access the State VPN on your State-issued device:
            • Please note that the required apps will download faster on Wi-Fi than on data
            • Make sure devices are enrolled in MDM - instructions are found here.
                  • Members need to be added to the Smart Group assignment in MDM (lists provided by Justin Taylor)
            • Once a member of the smart groups (“FINET QA Mobile ADV4” and “FINET Prod
Mobile ADV4”) you will be assigned the following applications automatically:
            • FINET QA (Web Link)
            • FINET PRD (Web Link)
            • GlobalProtect (Application)

Instructions for Android devices
1. Assigned users on Android should receive a notification from the Hub App instructing you to click to add shortcuts to the home screen. Select the Add Shortcuts notification:
If you are successful, skip to Step #8.
If you do not receive the notification, contact the DTS Help Desk to re-push FINET QA and FINET PRD (Web Link PWAs), and if needed, GlobalProtect (Mobile Application). Continue
            with Step #2.
2. After the DTS Help Desk has re-pushed the shortcuts, open the “Hub App” and select “App Catalog”.
3. Ensure that the shortcuts are installed on your mobile device. You should see a status of “Installed” next to all 3 of the following applications:
            • FINET QA (Web Link PWA)
            • FINET PRD (Web Link PWA)
            • GlobalProtect (Mobile Application)
4. To begin the process of adding the applications to the home screen, return to Hub App and select “This Device”.
5. Select “Profiles” from “This Device”.
6. Select “FINET QA” from “Profiles”.
7. Select “Reapply Profile” to add the icon to the home screen.
8. Select “Add to home screen” to add the shortcut to your home screen.
9. Icons are added to the home screen.
10. If you are off the State network (e.g., off premises), you will need to connect to VPN via the GlobalProtect app prior to opening the FINET QA and FINET web link apps.

Transitioning to access the web link app

1. If you are off the State network (e.g., off premises), you will need to connect to  =VPN via the GlobalProtect app prior to opening the FINET QA and FINET web link apps.
            Select the GlobalProtect application.
2. If this if your first time logging in, you will be prompted to enter the portal address which is “remote.utah.gov”.
3. Log into State VPN with your UtahID credentials: your enterprise username/email and password.
4. If required, you will need to provide your RSA token.
5. If this is your first time logging into the VPN, you will have to accept the connection by clicking “OK”.
6. Submit your information and wait until you see you are connected.

At this point, the device is connected to State VPN and you will be allowed to open the FINET QA and FINET PRD Web Link PWA applications.

Instructions for iOS devices
1. The 3 applications will automatically be installed:
2. If you are off the State network, you will need to connect to VPN via the GlobalProtect app prior to opening the FINET QA and FINET web link apps.
3. If this is your first time opening the GlobalProtect app, you will need to configure the portal address and sign in with your utah.gov account.
Enter portal address: remote.utah.gov and select CONNECT.
4. Select Allow on adding VPN configurations. You will then be prompted to enter your iPhone passcode and sign in to the UtahID login screen.
